Error 429 When Verifying GBP

Hi folks,

In the past week, I've been running into an "Error 429" when selecting the "Get Verified" button on a GBP. This seems to be happening at random, and on different browsers as well. I searched the forum and found a similar post back in 2021 where this was happening. I reached out to GBP support, and they are looking into it.
Has anyone else run into this recently?

Yes, I have been experiencing it as well for the last 2 days. I have 2 profiles that I am attempting to get verified, and I get the message with both. I'm really hoping it is just a fluke and Google will get it working soon.

We also have this problem for 3 days. It appears on various accounts, both agency and individual. We are waiting for a fix from Google

My coworkers (I don't handle GBP creation/validation) have also been complaining about this.
