Hi,

Wayyyyy back in 2017 or 2018 we did some FB ads. Some of the ads got flagged for a minor infraction. Fast forward 7 or 8 years and we are past the time where we can request a review on the issue and we are not allowed to advertise. Does anyone have any idea how to get to a live person? There is absolutely no way from my account to reach some one. I need help from the inside!

Thanks,

Hi Matt, very rarely is there an option to actually speak with a live person. The option is very seldom seen, 99.9% of the time you only get the option for a live chat. Have you attempted this? If not, or if you have any troubles I'm happy to give you a walk-through.

Thanks, Jeff. I can't even get into a live chat. It doesn't show available for me. I've looked everywhere. I'd be happy if you could steer me and I'm just missing it.

Sure thing, it will probably be easier to record a quick walk-through and send it to you via a forum direct message. It may be tomorrow before I can do this though.

Hey Matt, a couple of questions:
  • Does the FB page have an existing Ad Account?
  • Is the FB page associated with a Business Portfolio (formerly Business Manager)? Since the time of the infraction, the FB page was probably moved over to the "New Pages" experience and often times businesses were pretty much forced to create a Business Portfolio/Manager association. Page Roles, such as Admin/Owner access can get a bit confusing after making that switch.
This answers should help me out in creating a walk-thru.

-Jeff

Yes, it has an ad account. Yes it is connected with a Business Portfolio. It shows that I'm an admin.
