Good morning, Has anyone else seen a change in views/actions on GBPs since the week of 4/22. We track insights weekly in a spreadsheet for views on search and mobile, as well as calls, directions and web clicks. There was a large dip the week of 4/22 (4/22-4/28), and levels since then have been lower. Just wondering if this is something others are seeing as well. Could it have anything to do with the Google core update, or is there a separate algorithm for GBPs?

The March Google search core algo update wouldn't affect Google map rankings. There is a separate Maps algo and that has not seen a major update since November 2021, though Google periodically does smaller updates.

Have you noticed any changes to rankings in this time period? I am not seeing dips like this on any listings I monitor.

Core updates do not affect google maps rankings massively, but they can and DO affect stats because (for examples) a bunch of keywords may suddenly stop showing threepacks that previously did (and vice versa). Some keywords may also be reassigned to different GBP categories. This is a normal side effect of core updates.

Also, there have been explicitly documented effects of minor map updates occurring simultaneously with core updates, including the March 2023 one.
