Anyone else have this issue? I cannot edit or modify products appearing for a GBP and the information is not accurate.

I sent a ticket to Google Support and they were not helpful.

Note, the client does not have a Shopify store or Merchant Center account, so unsure how it is linked.

They must have created a Shopify account but don't remember now. You need access to the merchant center, so your clients can try logging in.
 
Was this resolved? I am facing this issue as of yesterday. Cannot access products via GBP, we have no shopify account, no google merchant center account. Not for a client, for our own business.
 
No it was never resolved. I posted to the Google My Business Community Forum and submitted several tickets to the support team. I was passed back and forth between Merchant Center Support telling me it was a problem for the GMB support team and the GMB support team telling me it was a Merchant Center error. See screenshot below for the last discussion.

After troubleshooting, I was able to figure out that the products were getting pulled in from a Home Builder that works with the community. They basically told me to reach out to them and ask them to remove it.
 
How did you troubleshoot this? I am absolutely clueless about how something I don't control can be linked to my GBP.

I don't have incorrect information appearing, there are no products appearing on my GMB at all. Previously I had about 40.
 
I did. Ultimately I created a Merchant Center account, which then showed all my products on that dashboard. I then toggled off "show on google ads", and after a while my products appeared again on my GBP. My images are distorted though, I may need to reformat them. I did nothing with Shopify, still have no connection to it.
