Should your GBP business name match the exact name on our client’s business license?

Their logo doesn’t match 100% to their business license. But their GBP matches their logo.

For instance, their business license has “P.C.” but their logo doesn’t designate P.C.

So should the GBP business name match their logo or their business license?

Also, does Google allow you to use “&” in the business name?

Thanks!

Solution
It depends, for example, legal terms in the business name on the profile as LLC, P.C. or Inc are frowned upon by Google.

The business name should reflect the business’s real-world name, as used consistently on the storefront, website, stationery, and as known to customers.
