Hi Local warriors! Here we are again fighting against the beast! So, recently, about 10 days ago, Google changed the name of the listing for one of the clients I managed. They are a PI firm in a very competitive space so I still have doubst if it was Google actually or a competitor. In any case, they had some KW in their business name, backed up by a DBA they currently have active.
I am wondering what could be the best way to approach to changing the name back to what we originally had (with the keywords) as I don´t really want to risk getting this profile suspended as they are already fighting hard to be found because of the crazy level of competition there is in the area. Any recommendations are welcomed!

Curious thing: they have a second location that is using the same name (less competitive area) and that one was not changed by Google

I have had many clients with legitimate keywords in their business names who have this name change happen to them daily. It's definitely competitors doing "spam fighting" work with Suggest an Edit.

We simply edit the listing and add the keywords back. We have done it every day for months and months with no suspension or reverification or any problems.

It got annoying, so we set up an auto-revert using the Whitespark $1/month Local Platform software. Now we never think about it.
