Hey everyone — I could really use some help from people who’ve been in the weeds with GBP issues.

We manage Google Business Profiles for a multi-location service business (one brand, multiple real branch locations). Two separate branches got mistakenly flagged as duplicates, and after that Google basically mashed the profiles together. One of the locations is now disabled, and the appeals tool literally says “Business Profile disabled” with the reason “Business Profile doesn’t exist” (appeal submitted). The other location stayed live, but it looks like reviews got mixed up in the process — one branch is missing reviews it used to have, so I’m guessing they were misattributed during the duplicate/merge situation.

We’ve followed support’s instructions and sent everything they asked for, including fresh real-world photos (storefront/entrance/signage) and business documents. Support responses have been inconsistent and now the thread has gone quiet.

If anyone has dealt with this, what’s the best next move when Google says the profile “doesn’t exist”? And is there a specific way to request a manual fix so the reviews end up back on the correct branch listings (not trying to move reviews between unrelated businesses, just undo whatever got mixed up during the duplicate/merge)?

I’m keeping details anonymous here, but I’m happy to DM anonymized screenshots of the appeal status and the support emails if someone is willing to take a look.
