Google My Business App not showing cover photo & logo

Hi. The cover photo and logo are appearing correctly in the backend of Google My Business on desktop, Google Maps live listing and my GMB listing. However, when I open my listing on the Google My Business app on my phone, it tells me to upload the cover photo and logo. Why isn't it showing the cover photo and logo I already uploaded to my GMB listing? Also, I uploaded a new cover photo & logo to the GMB app, but it still doesn't show them.

It's a known issue, this is what Google advised:

Unfortunately, this issue is still occurring but there is no workaround at this time. Performance of your Business Profile or visibility of your logo are not affected and it's is purely an interface error. We plan to have a resolution by the end of year, thanks for your patience.
