Help after address change

My client previously had his GBP area set for a different city (Airdrie), He made the move into Calgary and we changed his address to the new Calgary address. We verified his profile, but since the change, he does not show up on the 9 pages of Google Business Profiles. He is set up as an SAB as he doesn't do shoots at his location. Any insight would be appreciated.

That's the SAB move bug. Moved GBPs will not rank at the new address unless that address is visible on the profile. Google has shown no interest whatsoever in fixing this longstanding problem.

Options:
1) Ideally: just find a find to display the new address.
2) Use the website and rely on Organic local with service area pages instead of the GBP itself.
3) Start over completely with a brand new GBP and build that up with new reviews and content (although you can reuse posts and photos from the older profile)
4) as above, but attempt to merge the profiles. this is risky, however, because you cannot predict which verification address will be used by the resulting profile.
5) As in 3 above, but somehow convince support to move the reviews. However, this seems hypothetical at best to me, especially with the constant decline in GBP support competence. @JoyHawkins said she has managed this in the past, but our agency has had no luck whatsoever with these kinds of things.

You need to contact support and have them update the address on the back end.
