Hey there, I have a quick question for anyone who has dealt with this. I run a service based business on Google, and my address is hidden. My homepage ranks well for Orlando searches, but my real address is in a smaller city about 25 miles away.
Here's the real problem. My address is in one kind of area, and the clients I want are in a totally different kind of area. Different homes, different clients, different everything. So this isn't just about distance. These two markets don't even look alike.
I know Google cares a lot about how close you are to your hidden address. So here's my question. Should I build up trust and rankings in my own city first, then work my way out toward Orlando? Or is there a better way to build trust for Orlando right away, without focusing on a city that doesn't really have our clientele in?
Has anyone dealt with this? Not just a distance problem, but where your address and your target area are just totally different markets? If so, how did you deal with it?
Thank you in advance for any and all feedback. I truly appreciate it.
Be Blessed,
Audrey
