Images/Icons on Google Map/Local Listings

Anybody know the specifics why some businesses have photos/icons next to their listing and others don't? The one's that don't seem to show the Google street view photo. Having your page verified and optimized doesn't seem to make a difference. I could be blind but would appreciate someone confirming for me.
