Is there a reliable way to estimate potential monthly calls from a Google Business Profile (GBP)?

I have access to different datasets (Ahrefs keyword volumes, GBP rank tracker reports, GSC impressions/clicks, etc.). I’m wondering if anyone has a method or formula to connect these data points together and forecast how many calls the GBP listing could generate per month.

Thank You!

Yes technically you can forecast based on those data points using a tool like forecast forge, but I think the outcome will be suspect as you're not starting with any actual call click data. Ideally, you'd want to start with data that has been tracking phone calls in the past (using a call tracking tool like callRail of CallTrackingMetrics) to be able to get a forecast together.

In the ideal scenario I would present the data as likely suspect and falls into the, "This is what we can show when our next best alternative is no data at all." There are so many variables in play with AI Mode becoming the default search experience that all our old data would be based on an old search experience. I'd question the value of the data in the first place.

If all you have are call clicks coming out of GA4, I'd be even more suspect.

And if all you're working with is data for Ahrefs, GSC and GBP rankings I'd really NOT want to forecast there because I'd be concerned about losing credibility with the client. Just my 2c and YMMV.
