Hi there,

My client has two Google Business Profiles for her two locations. She is permanently shutting down one of them (located in Denver, which has 5 reviews), and is permanently moving to the other location (located in Englewood, 0 reviews). Both GBPs are still live and verified.

I'm wondering the best way to go about this. Do I:
1. Request a review transfer to the second location?
2. Request a profile merge?
3. Change the address of the Denver profile with the reviews, and delete the data on the other Englewood Location?

I'm also wondering the order of operations here, especially if I need to mark one as permanently closed, delete the profile, or leave them both untouched.

I've gone through the Contact Support option, and it sends me in an infinite loop to either 1) post on the community forum (which I did, and my post got locked & marked as a duplicate), or 2) get help with verification (even though both my profiles are verified). I've tried several combinations and still can't trigger a contact option.

Here are the links to the profiles:

Englewood location: https://share.google/cgKkqB2E3WlMCcSRY

Thank you!

Hi there, you should contact Google support again and ask them to mark the Denver location as "moved" to the Englewood location, and ask them to transfer the reviews to the Englewood location. See if that works. Typically, Google will not "merge" listings at different addresses, so using the verbiage "mark moved" may work.

If that does not work, DM me a link to your thread on the GBP community forum and I will pop in and see if I can help.
