Multi-Location Heat Map?

Is there a local map ranking software that can plot two locations of a business to see how they rank for a specific term? Or am I better off just creating a huge grid for both locations and seeing where the overlap is?

You are probably better off just creating a huge grid for both locations and seeing where the overlap is. I use Places Scout for this, as you can add in multiple "Tracked Site or Phone or Identifiers" for each ranking report - so you can add the website and as many CIDs as you want:
