After searching for a keyword, it shows after picking a listing. The rest of the results are shown at the bottom of the map.

@raellovepie, Google has dabbled with the carousel since 2013: Google Officially Launches Knowledge Graph Carousel For Local Search

But that exact layout looks new to me.

That is good to know @Phil Rozek. I know G's been testing a lot of UX over the years. But this one I approve in desktop. It's just a better UX.
