Can some one provide THE FASTEST AND MOST EFFICIENT WAY to suppress a featured snippet appearing that involves a number the customer DOES NOT want appearing?

It appears because it has been published somewhere. Doesn't need to even be on the website. It could come from a directory, linkedin, social media or somewhere else.

As suggested, find the source and remove the number.

Thank you for your input...we are ASSUMING its sourced from the website so to date we have:

-Added the no-snippet code throughout the website
-Requested reindex of each page and confirmed the following day that no-snippet code was visible
-Applied Schema updates to help direct search engines on correct numbers by location. All customer support and home pages were requested to reindex in Google Search Console. I have checked this morning and can see that it is live in their index and confirmed it is being detected correctly in their Rich Results test in Google Search Console.

Are we missing anything!!!???!!!

Assuming something doesn't make it so. Do a Google search for the number in various formats and see if you can find it anywhere in the world.

Schema is an information source that may or may not be used by Google.

Requesting reindexing might help but you need to give Google a reason to reindex. If the page is visited by the robots and no real difference is seen then there in no value in Google reindexing.
