Is Google now checking for any possible relationship to a business?

I left a review for a business I used, that is also a client of mine. I tried using two different personal accounts, both were filtered. The only connection those accounts had were that emails are forwarded or used as account backup on my business account, the one tied to the client's gbp.

I have done this before with no problems, but probably not in the recent couple of years.

I believe they have always done this. I assume you have logged into your client's GBP from your location? If that's the case, they would associate your IP address as a manager on that listing, then you can't leave a review for them using your device that is also associated with that IP address.

I had it happen with several of my customers that I ended up getting connected to after I had organically used their services . . . @ElizabethRule suggested this form to me:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdEYYLY9EUPoAy9Wj_qqsbUd8kF9g_hiR0P2GXdrSoubu57og/viewform

It took about 2 weeks for my filtered reviews to be listed again (all that were hidden).

If you have noticed it on one you probably have others that are filtered.

I opened the reviews on my personal Local Guide account and opened the contibutions and then the reviews tab, click each review one by one, then open the place details, then copy the share link to that place and open a browser not logged into that account and check for your review after you sort by date . It's a giant pain if you have a lot of reviews but I haven't found a tool that will show hidden reviews based on the contributor yet

I have had reviews filtered for my business for many many years. These are real reviews from real customers who already had established Gmail account. I figured it was just part of the normal Google spam filtering, nothing is ever perfect so I figured those good reviews were casualties of a greater war.

Some of the reviews were filtered out when the customers left it, because they would tell me that they left a review but I would just never see it. In some cases I asked them about it and they even sent me screenshots of their account showing that it shows up there for them. But there was also times when I lost 15 or 20 reviews in one shot. And again, all of my reviews were from real customers, I never played any games trying to get fake reviews.

At this point I don’t remember which reviews were filtered out from which customers. I have no substantiation to submit.

Would that link you posted work for me?

The customers that had filtered reviews would have to each submit that particular form.
