Stuck After One Failed GBP Video Verification – No More Way To Verify?

Hi everyone,

I’m noticing a pattern with Google Business Profile verification. Even after just one failed video verification attempt, Google seems to block any further verification methods. Additionally, support cases for verification remain stuck in “In Progress” status with no resolution.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue? How are you handling it? Any advice or workarounds would be appreciated.

There is no workaround that I know of. You need to click that "contact support" button, which should connect you to a support team that can set you up with a live video verification. It is not the normal contact form, it is a special verification form. Ask them for a live video verification.

Thank you for your response @ElizabethRule. I followed the steps you mentioned and used the special verification form to request live video verification. However, the case has been stuck for almost three days with no response, although the appeal status still shows “In Progress.”

The other reason for my post is that this seems to be happening more frequently now, even a single failed attempt results in Google removing all verification methods & showing 'No more ways to verify'

Did Google not reach out to you or reply to your form submission? Did you attempt the live video verification?

Anecdotally, I have not seen an influx of "No more ways to verify," but it would not surprise me.

The verification was a normal video verification after we updated the address on the profile. The same issue occurs with a new profile we set up for the first time. After just one failed video verification attempt, it now says, "No more ways to verify." I checked with my circle, and other people are experiencing the same issue.


AND YES, GOOGLE DID NOT REACH OUT in any way.
