I have a customer that just changed his hours from 9-5 to 8-6.

Before exiting the business information he accepted 3 Google changes:
- has repair services
- no parking on site
- no clothing recycling

Immediate suspension on the GBP.

This was all about 45 minutes ago, he already submitted an appeal with his business license & insurance.

Has anyone else run into any issues with hours triggering a suspension?

He did submit his initial appeal already with his business license and a copy of his insurance.

Does anyone have any experience with what kind of turn around time there is for an approval or a denial of the first appeal these days?

This is definitely a first for me.

24 hours later, so probably about 23 hours after the customer submitted their first appeal, there was a message this morning at 6:32 Arizona time that the profile had been suspended.

Then a message slightly later in that same minute that said the appeal was approved.

Then another message one minute later that said the appeal was suspended.

When I go to look at my dashboard it's now showing as verified and not suspended. All the reviews are there. The hours that were changed are showing or reflected correctly in the Google Business Profile and they are visible on Maps again.

I have never heard of a 24-hour turnaround time for an appeal being submitted to the approval.

It seems likely that the suspension just for changing hours was probably not intentional behavior, which is why the suspension was turned around so quickly. People change hours all the time in their businesses so I can't see that being a factor that puts a GPP at risk?
