Verifying a google+ business page

I have created a google+ business page but have not verified it yet, when I login it I don't seem t be able to see or edit the categories or business address..etc

Do I have to verify to be able to edit these info? Is there Anything I am missing?

You should be able to make edits within the G+ Business page interface before you verify it.

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Colan thanks.. I figured it out.. I must tell you I am still not used to google+ business and dont find it as smooth as google places

However, from what I have seen, it does appear that any changes you make will only "take effect" when the page is verified...
