Your website has a brand new look (including Whatsapp !!)

I just received emails from Google regarding several of my clients, with the subject line "Your website has a brand new look"

Some of them are for clients that do have active GMB websites. So I went and looked at them. Wow, they are a lot more full-featured now.

But the big surprise: A top-right-hand header link to WhatsApp. What is up with that?

Hmm...I thought Google was rolling out a lot of business messaging tools (Google Maps update is set to bring a huge WhatsApp feature to users) but I can't find anything indicating a direct relationship with WhatsApp...

Interesting. Good find, @tedchan I had not seen that before now.

Good grief, now we'll all need to learn about Whatsapp. <sigh>
