Hi,
Would anyone share their tips of how to go about getting an exhaustive inventory of any/all possible Google Maps listings in existence for a particular company with hundreds of locations?
For example, an insurance company with maybe 100 locations, and perhaps 150 agents... however many agents have come and gone and some agents have alternative agency names, etc. There might be hundreds of listing by the time the inventory is completed.
In this case, no one has ever done a good job maintaining this particular GMB dashboard, so there are many listings to close via the dashboard and most likely many listings in existence that are not yet in the dashboard (whether the agents are long gone or not)... there are probably many listings currently controlled by a dozen other misc Google accounts over the years.
Would you, for example, start performing Google Maps searches for the company name and copy/paste the results into a spreadsheet... then cross reference a master list of agent names / phone numbers, etc. provided by the company to find more listings?
Would you then continue to search with other data points in Google Maps, like the website URL and such... and then remove the duplicates in the inventory... or is there a better way to go about this?
Thanks,
Russ
