More reviews removed every day since Feb 15. There were also a bunch January 17 through 20. It seems to be across the same 28 locations (about half of the total I manage on LV) and the primary categories are: Accountant Auto repair shop Bar Barber shop Bathroom remodeler Car detailing service...

It looks to be #3 in my case, but some of the reviews are coming back.

I specifically checked my locations with lower reviews (under 50) and the reviews are definitely removed from public view. Also, logging directly into the GBP admin, the number of reviews in the summary shows the total including the removed reviews, but doesn't actually show any of the removed...

I just had 20 "new" reviews show up for the original restaurant location dated 2015 through 2025 as well as 2 "new" images dated 2024 . . . that at least gives a little hope that something is being adjusted and things may settle down a bit.

Just got notified of another round of removals including another 12 for the same restaurant location at the start of this thread (plus I noticed there were 3 removed on Sunday) for a total of 91 removals in the last 3 days for that location.

I am looking at a location that in the LV interface shows 27 live reviews and 7 deleted (34 total): The actual GBP on maps shows there are 34 reviews: When I count the visible reviews on the GBP there are 27 and the names in the deleted list are not included in the 27 visible reviews.

This wasn't related to just the review count number itself going down, it was specific reviews that previously existed that were removed from the GBP.

The reactions are anonymous with no tracking metrics as far as I have ever seen. If multiple negative reviews are in a condensed period of time AND have reactions it should be a relatively obvious footprint for Google to take a look at I would think. Report each of the 1 star reviews as a...

Anyone else noticing an increase in deleted/hidden reviews? I track when reviews are removed from customer locations and among ~40 locations there are usually only1 or 2 removed each month. The past weekend were 10 removals, all different locations and date ranges from 2020 through 2026.
