I just got an invite through the GYBO program. (I'm a contractor for a local Chamber.) Instead of looking to charge a fee, I could use it as a good excuse to visit new members, and offer to verify their business for them. Instant goodwill builder for me, and supports the Chamber in the meantime.
I was able to walk through the sign up process based on Raj's information. The important thing to note is that once you choose "Verify Your Listing" you need to go through the sign-up process as usual, and once you get to the check-out screen, that's where you scroll down to find the link to...
Linda, I read through everything, and have a better feel for the situation. It looks like the next best person to try is Raj@yext.com. I've sent him an e-mail, and we'll see what happens. If I'm able to make some progress one way or the other, I'll report back here to the group.
Thanks!
I had a number of listings setup under a Yahoo! Small Business account. I hadn't looked at them lately, and knew that Yahoo! was exiting the maintenance of these listings, and had hoped to reclaim them on the Aabaco platform.
I submitted my Yahoo! e-mail address, and confirmed that I received...
One thing that we need to do is update our links from the website to the map page. Our hope in many instances was to have a link from the homepage to Google+ in order to make it easier for people to leave reviews. When we have a link setup for this purpose, we need to make sure it's going to...
Linda, I went ahead and created that new post under reviews:

Thanks for your guidance!
I've created a "review sheet" and a separate e-mail "review request" for a client, and the link for Google Maps takes about 4 clicks to get through to where I can write a review. Here's a similar map link: https://goo.gl/maps/KhNDbEMSzDo.
When I open up the link by itself from my iPhone e-mail...
I'm struggling with the mobile version of this. I'm trying to create a "review sheet" and a separate e-mail "review request" for a client, and the link for Google Maps takes about 4 clicks to get through to where I can write a review. Here's a similar map link: https://goo.gl/maps/KhNDbEMSzDo...
Cody, I do have access to gwt, so I'm thinking about using pro-sitemaps.com to create the updated sitemap and submit it to Google that way. It's $5 per month, but when the goal is trying to boost my client's rankings (which is the franchisee), I don't want to use the excuse of relying on the...
Re: Google My Business & GMBL Update Rolling Out Now - Better Nav/UI
I've not gotten the update that Linda mentions, but I do see that the "Share an Update" is still featured on the primary business page. Even though Google has disconnected G+ from other tools, it appears that they're not...
We use Bright Local for this. It does have a modest monthly fee, but we're able to keep track of a number of clients on one account. There are a variety of critical reports, including one that shows ranking on Google Maps. Bright Local is based in the UK, but they have a staff person that...
I have a franchise client I've been working with. The sitemap.xml file is maintained and updated by the franchisor and they are unwilling to load a file I've sent them from pro-sitemaps.com. I've been asking them to update it, fearing that my recent blog posts haven't be picked up. However...
This looks like a GREAT tool! I'm sure most of the ideas are just as relevant today as they were when it was published.
One thing I wondered about.... We have an HTML-site that is working well on desktops, and we're going to do a mobile specific site. (Client is HVAC repair in Texas) I know...
