I'm in an unfamiliar position in which I'm in need of a job. I have 12 years of full-time SEO experience with a focus on Local SEO. I'm quite comfy with anything, from in-depth audits and keyword research to onpage & technical SEO to link building and content creation to social media and more...
Usually when I've seen GBP listings being filtered out, it's because there are other listings with more location authority whom Google decides to display instead? Then once you zoom in a couple times, you can see yourself / your client appear.
Have you guys seen it where no listings at all...
A client of mine was doing very well for the last 6 months on LSAs. His business insurance was expiring so he updated it. Now, Google kicked him off of Local Service Ads as they won't approve his new insurance. They won't tell us why. We've called them 10 times over the past month while he's...
I did this a while back but it was with Google Ads I think. Google used to have "Google Beacons" and I think even mailed you a beacon device "for free". Might want to check out companies like Proximity Marketing - Mobile Proximity Marketing Solutions For Businesses | Mapsted too
I have plenty of full-time experience under my belt in every aspect of digital marketing. I had a full client load until COVID hit. Since then, I've run into very serious life events which cost me everything, every cent (and loans), my family, my home etc. I'm in a real bind here and could...
My client is an indoor entertainment venue that offers a few different services. Not sure if I want to reveal much info here but it's similar to a bowling alley in that there's a main GBP listing for the bowling alley but suddenly, there are multiple new GBP listings for things like 5 pin...
In my few years of digital marketing, I haven't run into this problem. A new client has a site on Shopify. Some pages have decent meta tags (ie. page title & description) written but when looking at the mozbar or even the page source, those meta tags are not found anywhere. I see tags from the...
This is exactly what I thought. Any photos that you take or create and upload to the GMB listing from anywhere you are in the world will be auto-tagged with the address / coordinates that are on that listing. I hope this is true since it saves me a ton of time.
Since there's no written proof, I guess we can't get anyone to help look into this then? Now I'm thinking the spy cam may not be such a far fetched others idea. Send the footage to Google via Twitter or whatever.
I know it must hurt my client and others in the area knowing that the one owner...
Yes, but isn't providing incentives in exchange for a review against the ToS?
So, if their competitors (ie. My client) is playing by the rules, they are the ones being punished by losing out on all those incentivized reviews.
I'm able to help my client get many legit reviews but nothing like...
My client (tourist attraction) went to play a game at a competitors facility the other day after hearing a rumor that they were violating Google's ToS. Sure enough, same thing happened with him and his group.
After the game, the business owners said they would give him a discount or a raffle...
Thanks but I may have worded it wrong.
