It just keeps getting worse and worse. Then again, when something has such a large impact on a company's success, there's a lot of pressure to do whatever it takes to beat the competition.
Thanks for the link - I didn't know there was such a thing. Will try reporting and see if anything happens...
Has anyone had problems with GBP reviews being scraped from your clients' profiles and then shown on other companies' GBPs?
We've seen several cases of this happening and they all seem to be associated with this "marketing company" - https://www.treeleadsonline.com/information51112906. When we...
That's what I worry about too. There's a duplicate for my business that I've flagged as duplicate multiple times (so have others). It's still there. In fact, it often shows up instead of our real listing. Which makes me really nervous about marking it as closed. What if both get closed? Google...
I can't seem to find an answer to this. We use CallRail on all client accounts. Make it the primary # on GBP and list their "real" # as secondary.
When setting up a 2nd location, I understand they should use a different phone number. Each location will have its own CallRail # but the client...
@keyserholiday - That's one thing I'm still a little uncertain about.
Are you saying that a company with an office should NOT also list their service area?
Should we remove the service area locations currently shown on the existing GBP listing (both the office address and service area are...
We have a client that provides tree care services but does have an office that people can visit (e.g., to pay their bills). The office is in the same location as their equipment storage yard and is located on the southeast edge of a major city. They have their address showing on their GBP...
How do you find what those "3rd party sources" are???
I'm having the same problem with 2 of my clients and I cannot for the life of me figure out where the information is coming from. I've looked at every account and citation I can find through Bright Local, plus a general Google search, and...
Did anyone ever figure out what was going on with missing reviews? One of our clients (a tree service company) received a review 2 days ago (and got a notification from Google) but it's not showing up in GMB.
We use monday.com for nearly everything, although invoices are sent from ZohoBooks. monday.com has an easy time tracking feature that can be used for team members, tasks, client activities, etc., as well as tons of options to track and view nearly anything you want. If you can measure it, you...
Thank you, Phil! My client has gotten his knickers in a twist over this (he feels the competitor is unethical and is "stealing" business from him) and keeps asking me to "Do Something!" And I keep saying there's not much that can be done... but apparently haven't been very convincing! (and was...
Cool. I specialize in the green industry - mostly tree service and landscape companies. I owned a landscape company and ended up in SEO (plus a lot of other things) after building our company website and digital marketing efforts. Funny how one thing always seems to lead to something else.
Is there anything that can be done about companies who send out emails/text messages saying "Leave us a Google review and be entered to win a $50 gift card"? Isn’t offering a payment for a review against Google’s terms of service? Or is being entered in a drawing ok? They’re smart enough not to...
