Adword listing in Google snack pack in the UK

Google seems to have introduced one adword listing in the snack pack results but i struggle to trigger any in google local search results on the UK market.

The only way i can see any is when I click on the "more places" option at the bottom of the snack pack and then i can see 2 adword listing at the top of the longer list.

Does anyone know if Google has yet to roll the additional adword listing on the main snack pack?

Since I am not an adword specialist, can anyone recommend any resources that teaches how to display local businesses in Paid Google local results please.

So far everyone I've asked in the UK hasn't seen them either so I'm assuming the feature hasn't rolled out there yet.

i watched your presentation at the local business marketing summit a couple of days ago and checked out your blog article "What You Need to Know About Ads in the 3-Pack" on the back of it in which you said "there are tricks to make the google ad appear in the snack pack".
Anything you're willing to share before the functionality is rolled out in the UK so we can capitalize on it as soon as it is available.
