A client just received this text to their cellphone:

Google #68872: Your profile has been compromised . Text back --SENDNOW-- when you are able to verify your profile.

This smells of major scam. Has anyone experienced this before?

Oh dear, smells like a major scam to me too.

Have them text back and send you the resulting convo to post here. :)

My fear is that texting back could initiate the scam.

Oh, boy...thanks for bringing this to light, Colan. That really seems wrong.
