Hello!

At our agency, we have been running into issues with Apple Maps. We used to use a dummy gmail to set up an account for a new client, but reached maximums on the number of times our phone numbers were used for verification, so our team members could no longer set up new accounts. We then started trying to use the phone numbers of other folks on the account, but even they started getting maxed out.

About a year ago, we created a Enterprise account in Apple Maps, and this solved our issues for awhile. However, we are now starting to run into issues with phone number verification and it's very difficult to share listing access with our clients.

Have any other agencies found a solution to this issue on Apple Maps?

Hello!

You will want to set up an agency account and register as a third party partner - this will give you an agency ID # that you can share with your clients and they can add you as a partner to be able to manage their listings. This allows the client to have ownership of their listing and avoids the issues with phone number verification. You would use your own Apple ID associated with your agency Gmail to manage the client's listings. But basically the client needs to claim their listing and then give you third-party access.

Here are the instructions for registering as a third-party partner: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/apple-business-connect/abcbec357512/web
