Good afternoon, everybody!

This is a topic that got some discussion years ago, but I'm wondering if any of you have a current story. Example: a place that does pedicures names itself "Football". When people look up the business via its name, Google returns NFL results instead of a branded result for the salon.

I know I've seen this come up in the past, but I'm having trouble locating any discussions of it. Any examples or anecdotes you can share? Links to older discussions of this topic? Thank you!

Just helped a national to local client get an issue like this resolved. Feel free to backchannel me dan {at} localseoguide.com

Thank you so much, Dan! I'll email you. I really appreciate it, as I haven't personally seen a case like this in a couple of years.

That story would make a super blog post Dan :)
