Business #1 buys business #2. They consolidate customers and services and operate under #1's Name and #2's Location. We need to remove all citations to #2's name/location and update all of #1's Citations to reflect their new address. Any suggestions to do this as easily as possible without showing either business as being closed? All suggestions appreciated.

Hi Mike, for the citations, I would use Bright Local or Whitespark. They can likely figure out a way to have the now incorrect listings merged or updated instead of marking them as closed. But you would need to double check with them.

On the GMB side, you can ask GMB support to "move" the now old listing into the new listing. They won't merge them, but they have the ability to "move" the old one which basically 301's the listing to the new one.
