Can I verify my business with Email verification

Hello Good people, Recently a client asked me to Email verify his GMB profile. He sells Cannabis in his store. I searched online that Cannabis is Legal in California. And his business is service area based and have no location that is why he wants Email verification. Is that possible? will google let me?

Hi @Nafiz - Two things:

1.) When you verify a Business Profile, Google decides which verification options you get. You might not have the option to verify by email. Often, video verification is the only choice presented.

2.) Google requires businesses selling age-restricted products, like cannabis, to have a storefront. You can't verify a cannabis business as an SAB. (See that rule here.)

@Nafiz - In most cases, you don't have to have a storefront, ss long as you engage with customers face-to-face. However, if the business deals with age-restricted products, like cannabis, it must have a storefront.

if I have a storefront then what will be the verification process? Do I have to video verify ? the thing is I am trying to avoid video verify cause my client doesn`t want to. If I have a storefront then what will be the verification process?

It's determined by an algorithm. You won't know what options you've got until you arrive at that step.
