Hi,

What do you think of the fact that you can't update Factual anymore as an SEO or SME? I am frustrated that you now have to sign up and subscribe to one of the Trusted Partners to basically update something like an address change.

Surely there must be a free way of doing this or are we being forced out unless we pay up?

No one is really happy about it, but these are the rules of the game.

You have to use a partner that feeds them data. When doing this for clients, the cost is passed on to them. It's just another expense of doing the work, so build that into pricing when quoting.

We use Brightlocal to submit. It's not that expensive.

I checked with Darren Shaw on this and the answer is no. However, Factual isn't really one aggregator that I've found has much reach so I honestly don't pay much attention to it anymore.

The 2 I'd be concerned about are Acxiom and ExpressUpdate (InfoUSA).
