Change from SAB to physical address

About to change a client from an SAB listing with several reviews to their new physical office address - this is different to the old address shown on the citations.

What's the advice now?

1. Mark the old listing as closed. Create new citations and a new listing - guess that means the reviews will be lost?

2. Change the existing listing to the new address after changing as many of the existing citations as possible?

If Google creates a new listing with the new address you can submit a request to have the reviews moved to the new page - https://support.google.com/business/#topic=2794267&ts=3054546,3141976&contact=1
