Client was trying to access their google business profile and actually created a new one. The old one is now marked duplicate. Its been a while since I have had to fix this. What are the recommended steps.

I only have access to the original profile that is now marked duplicate in my dashboard.

Validate the new GBP if it's not validated yet and work on that. There's to my knowledge, literally no way to undo a merger (there are stories floating around, but they're always about two completely different businesses)
