I'm trying to determine if anyone has run a test comparing Google's local ads/extensions format to traditional adwords. An example might be a retailer running e-commerce ads vs. ads for local stores. I know for a fact that several retailers and brands have done this and some agencies but there's nothing public available. Can anyone offer insights: my thesis is that local ads see lower CPCs, calls or better CTR, etc. vs. traditional ads/national ads.
