A competitor in my space continues to stuff the business names of the GBPs they manage with keywords which is giving their clients an unfair advantage compared to mine. Here's how they're structuring the business names: Business Name - Service(s) in City, State. These clearly are not their actual business name and instead are being manipulated for increased visibility. This is still against Google's T&Cs, right?
I've tried suggesting edits from SERPs and/or Maps and they're either ignored, rejected, or when approved they switch back almost immediately. Should I move to submitting redressal forms even though Google asks us not to for name changes?
At the end of the day, I want the best for my clients and if these GBPs are being manipulated in a way that's against terms, I'd like to put a stop to it so we're competing on a level playing field.
Thanks in advance.
