Hello

A competitor recently closed their business and moved to another location.

However, they still have their old listing up on GBP, along with a new one for the new location.

I have tried suggesting an edit and saying "place doesn't exist" with pictures showing that the building is no longer there but it was denied.

I'm now trying to say the business has changed address, how would you approach this?

Suggest an edit and choose duplicate place. If that doesn’t work then use the redressal form and include all of your proof.

Solution
They immediately denied the request.

At a loss. An unfair practice to business owners paying rent in the area if you ask.

Report it via the redressal form. You’ll be able to state your whole case and provide evidence. Read up on this forum for discussions about the redressal form and spam fighting.
