Does Enabling WhatsApp/Text Messaging in GBP Affect Performance Metrics?

Now as Google Business Profile allows you to enable WhatsApp or text messaging as a contact option. However, I'm curious—does this feature contribute to any performance metrics in GBP insights? Are there any ways to track how many users interact via WhatsApp or text messages through the profile?
