Does Google now allow online retailers to have a Google Business Profile? Setting up a new account for a client and saw this option.

Have you actually clicked on it? I don't do the validation process, but to me this reads like an option that will just show a "you cannot have a GBP Bye!" message.

Not unless you have a store or do face-to-face business with customers.
