GBP auto-verification

Hello, I have an old, active Google account. Over the past few months, I've experienced the "auto-verification". I can create Google Business Profiles, and they're verified automatically, but this doesn't apply to all business categories.

I think this issue is worth discussing further. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I manage more than 1,000 GBPs. I have been auto-verified when I add a new business, but it's never a guarantee. Google says your chances are greater if you are verified in Google Console, but all of my properties are verified in Google Console, and I typically get auto-verified about 5 percent of the time. (pretty rare). For reference, the properties I manage are all medical professionals, hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers. All have a valid postal address (and are found on Google Maps), they have websites, phone numbers, photo, logo and a proper description. In other words, a full and complete Google Business Profile.
