I have been trying to report old, outdated GBP photos for a customer. I go through the normal flagging process, but when I get to the submit button, nothing happens. If I click it again, I get a Captcha error. Eventually, the captcha verification expires and tells me to try again. I check the checkbox once more, then submit. Thus begins the circle of errors. It never goes through. Anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have tips or work-arounds?

FYI, I’ve seen cases where flagging and removing photos can negatively impact rankings and performance. Google loves User Generated Content (UGC).

That's good to know, and makes total sense.

In this case, the old photos are so bad, and come up so prominently, that it would behoove them to be removed so that potential guests don't think that's what the hotel looks like now.

I ran into the same issue the other day. Someone was posting legit spam videos from TikTok onto the GBP listing. I ended up reaching out to a GBP representative via live chat and they ended up removing the images/videos in a couple of days.

However, during this process, they somehow removed the Google Business Group with all the verified listings. One step forward, two steps back -_-.
