We have a business who experienced a review extortion attempt in early November, and about six spam reviews were successfully removed at that time. Since then, the profile appears to be under an ongoing security hold: Google Posts and image uploads are being rejected, and legitimate customer reviews are not publishing.
Google Support has confirmed the issue is tied to a security hold related to the extortion incident, but the hold keeps getting extended without a clear resolution timeline. We’re trying to determine whether there’s any viable escalation path or additional steps that could help restore normal profile functionality.
