GMB switching out UTM URLs

I keep changing my client's GMB URLs to UTM URLs but they keep getting swapped back to the old URL without the UTM parameters. How do I get those UTM URLs to stick?

Are you using a service like Moz/Yext? More than likely something other than GMB is changing them back.

Sometimes it can be from a Google Maps user suggesting an edit.

I have also experienced Moz changing them back.
