GMB Virtual Care Link - Does the URL have to be on the website?

In GMB there is now a "Virtual care link" that you can add a URL to. Does this link have to be to a page on the main URL?

The client uses a third party site to book their teletherapy session so wondering if I can use that link instead? Ex. clientname.teletherapyservice.com

I don’t see why not. I had a client that used a 3rd party for book appointments and they were able to the website link with the UTM code. It may take longer for the URL to accept and published as a lot of edits being severely delayed.
