Google Maps App now lets users add Missing Businesses

Check out the story above for more details. This could either help businesses get placed correctly on the map... or open the door for more bogus listings. Not really sure at this point, but it will be interesting to test out.

Oh and this is for iOS Google Maps, so if you have an iPhone you're good to go but i'm not sure about Android users.

I shared at the Pro Community yesterday and Andrew Sawyer, a Map Maker RER, said it's been on Android for some time, so isn't really new news. Well just the iPhone part is new, but according to him, the ability for anyone to add a biz is not.

And of course we discussed the spam potential.

What does everyone here think about it?
