Moz Spam Score Does Not Impact Your Google Rankings

Google's John Mueller sometimes has to confirm the more obvious questions including that Google does not use DA, a Moz metric. And now that Google does not use the spam score metric from DA.

Believe it or not, Google uses its own scores, signals and ranking factors and does not use Moz, a third-party company, metrics for its rankings.

John said on Twitter "the Moz spam score doesn't affect your backlinks" And then he added "it's also not used by Google."

Google's John Mueller said even if your site has "high domain authority with backlinks" there is no guarantee that it will lead to high Google rankings.

Domain authority does not exist.

Relevance to a specific search query is what's important in the links returned by that search query. But note that it is in reference to a specific serarch query, not to a whole site or even to different search queries. This is the new face of search... it is query driven, not site driven.
