Like us, I'm sure many other SEOs and agencies use a Google MCC account to manage their client's Google Ads campaigns, or a GBP Agency Dashboard for managing client's GBPs along with delegating appropriate access to other team members. Both the MCC and the GBP Agency Account have proven to be invaluable for our agency as we've grown and helps so much in delegating access and levels to our team members.
What is everyone else using/doing to access their client's Google Search Console? Besides reporting metrics, the main objective is to have access to functionality of the URL Inspection Tool.
It is just so clunky, inefficient and can be an administrative nightmare, having multiple Google Accounts (for different team members) to be granted access to each client's GSC. In the past we've used a single shared credential Google Account using an email address belonging to our domain, however with the necessity of multi-factor authentication, this has become a challenge and also a potential security risk if an employee leaves and the password isn't changed to the shared account.
I'm hoping that there is something obvious we are missing to make our life easier, but wouldn't be surprised at all if this is just a non-issue on Google's part.
Thanks!
