Hi, Google suspended our listing the support ticket asked us to add the address into our service area listing. They reinstated it and even called to confirm that it was live. I asked why they needed the listing to be confirmed in the first place. She gave a very generic response.
Has anyone had to add their address to a service area listing before to confirm it. This listing has been set up for years as a service area business.
Instead of suspending the listing completely maybe if there was a way where they can just ask users to confirm their addresses that would be nice.
Thanks!

Google never gives out that info, so it's par for the course.

Mind you, the Monday core update is probably to blame. Core updates involve Knowledge Graph updates, which is likely why there's always a wave of duplicates, suspensions, revalidation and weird-ass google edits (e.g. a slew of unrelated phone numbers popping up is usually my signal that a core update is happening) that come along.
