Help! Clarification on Review Gating?

Hi there! I need some clarification on review gating. I saw a website with a feedback page, and it has options to choose from 1 star to 5 star rating. Regardless of the rating, it will then show a popup with links to Google, Facebook, and a website form for the user to pick whichever platform they will leave their review into. Is this by any chance considered review gating?

No, doesn't sound like review gating to me. What would be review gating is if the user did NOT see the public review link options after choosing a 1 star - or whatever threshold at which the gating system is set.
